Unable to Cancel Accounts - Email Addresses No Longer Exist!

You need to contact support by phone and speak directly to billing so they can cancel it for you. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada.

Because that email address is no longer associated with the account.

Microsoft can only assist with billing queries if you have access to the account. You'll need to contact your bank or financial institution to cancel the charges. If you pay with card I'd suggest cancelling the card too.

I've already tried that route and was told that the account cannot be recovered because it has been marked as inactive and the only way to re-activate an inactive account is to enter a 9 digit code that is emailed to the primary email address on the account
which no longer exists. I'm stuck in a loop of "I need to update the email address because it n longer exists but need access to the email to update it'"

Is there any was to escalate this request further?

I'm having several issues with this, and they have to do more with Microsoft Live accounts than anything. 1.My GamerTag MedMan555 is connected to an old email, which is connected to it's own separate Live account. The email account has since expired, and
I don't remember the password to the Live account, so I can't get an email confirmation of the forgotten password. I filled out the questionaire in an attempt to get the password sent to my new email account, but my answers were rejected, primarily because
I'm unable to give the names and subjects of the last emails I received on that account, which no longer exists. I'm in the process of trying to re-establish the email account with yahoo, but have had little to no success with that. 2. I created a second
email account and Live Account to swith tastey poppy to, and the new Live Account under the new email was rejected because MS said it was an invalid email, so I was unable to switch Tastey Poppy from my current working email address, even if I could access
my original email address, which no longer exists. If you're not confused by now, I totally am.

If the email address to the account no longer exists I would advise contacting phone/chat support at support.xbox.com/contact-us to try and recover it.
