Unable to buy Xbox 360 games from Xbox one or marketplace.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I've seen a few similar threads about this, but most of them were locked.

It started last month when Battlefront was the free 360 game. When I try to see the price it says "Sorry, we had trouble loading some details. Please try again later.". It does the same thing for any 360 title on both the console and the marketplace web
site. The web page says I don't have a valid payment method but I have a card on file for live ultimate and other subscriptions. When I click the update payment link on the marketplace page it goes to an error page talking about a glitch in the system.

I added a new debit card recently. The previous card wasn't the issue. Had to get a replacement for another reson that happened after this started. But, I made sure both the console and my Microsoft account had the new card and proper billing address. I
removed all the old cards and addresses. I tried redownloading my profile within the xbox 360 emulator and I deleted and redownloaded my profile to my xbox one. Tried hard resetting the console. Still getting the error message.

You can't buy 360 games from the xbox one as they are separate marketplaces

Only way to download 360 games is an 360 console.or the 360 Web marketplace

Sometimes what could be the problem is that the country/region doesn't match up with what you have on file. Here try this FAQ and see if something there might help you out.

Please be aware that currently many services are overextended due to customer demand during the Covid Crisis. If you have a valud payment method on file please tey to purchase the game via Xbox.com of via tbe Xbox App. See if that helps.

That's only for Xbox one games and have no bearing on Xbox 360 marketplace

Xbox one family settings only works on the Xbox one games marketplace and not compatible with the xbox 360 web marketplace

You can only buy from the website or Xbox one using an adult account with actual gold

Or using an Xbox 360
