Unable to Buy base Forsaken Update for Destiny

I have bought all the DLC for Destiny 2 and the game store is refusing to let me buy just the forsaken update for $40 it only lets me get the option to buy forsaken with the 2 other DLC's I ALREADY HAVE... I am not going to spend $20 extra dollars to buy
something I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR...

Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC purchase options

Can the new DLC for Destiny 2, Forsaken, be purchased as a stand alone, don't want to buy a bundle that contains content I already own (base game and the previous expansions), looking at the Forsaken DLC it says "not available separately" is this true as
seems a massive cash grab and insult to people who have played the game from day 1.

 

Issue redeeming a Gift

Just wanted to follow up on this for anyone else that should search and run into a similar issue.

After a few MS support chats it was discovered that you need to own all the DLC first.

The error in our case was caused by the fact that Destiny 2 and destiny 2 Forsaken are considered different games. If you own Destiny 2 and its DLC you cannot redeem the second season pass if you dont own the game Destiny 2 Forsaken as again its classed
as a different game apparently.

I failed to realise the season pass for Forsaken doesn't include forsaken...

So in short if anyone else has a similar issue check if you can redeem the pass if you dont own the base game, even if the base game is now a piece of DLC.

And no one say "Are you sure that this account is the one you bought the DLC on?" OF COURSE IT IS I WOULDNT BUY IT ON ANOTHER PROFILE...

 

Bungie did the same on destiny one they removed the stand alone option and bundled it closer to launch.

If it is not available separately on the store they have likely done the same for destiny 2

Where did you find this page?!? I went to the same place and it says not sold separately.

 

I just searched it and it popped up. Did you manage to download/purchase it??
