Unable to build or access any menus on Zoo tycoon ultimate animals collection

hello!

I’ve bought the game today on the online store and everything was fine until a few hours of gameplay in (xbox one). As you probably know, there are many menus i can acess during gameplay to build and manage my zoo, and there’s always a panel on the lower
right corner that says which button to press and all that. My problem is that suddenly that was gone, and even if i tried to build or do anything pressing the buttons, it would freeze and the only way out was to change to 3rd person view, although i was still
able to call and ride the zoo cart. The first time that happened I thought that it was because the console was too hot, so i turned everything off and came back a few minutes later. It worked again for a while but then the same thing happened, but in less
time. I tried closing the game but no change, tried turning it off and on again, no change. Right now i’m giving it some time off to see if that works, but i’m not confident.

Has anyone else had this problem, does anyone know what to do?

Hey Smileskybird, I know you love Zoo Tycoon. Did you hear about the ultimate animal collection with 4K, HDR and new animals exclusive to Australia and South America.

Do I NEED to have an xbox?

As long as it is a windows 10 pc, Zoo Tycoon ultimate edition works just fine on windows 10, but not just Zoo Tycoon. Buy Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection - Microsoft Store

 

Sorry to hear it. Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps? You could also try deleting then reinstalling the game.
