Unable to Add someone to an Xbox chat group

If you are referring to add them to a party chat, the other user must accept the invite to the party chat before actually joining to the party chat

This isn't anything to do with my connection. As I originally stated this is occurring to other members of my group as well. However, just as a matter of fact, I already performed that reset a just a week ago. If that was going to fix it I wouldn't be messaging you now. This problem continues.

Again, just to reiterate:

Not a party chat.

Not a connection issue.

It's happening to multiple people in my group.

I tried your fix and it didn't work.

Not a party. It's a chat like I said in the title. Ya know, like where you have a group of people text chatting in the section labeled "Chats"? Lol

I have tested on my end in many accounts with many of my friends so this is not a server situation, that means it must be on the console, or the accounts that you are trying to add, that's why I'm requesting those steps, probably a week ago was a different situation but currently please follow the steps

Please perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
