    I can get all the way to the choose payment method screen, but the "Buy" option is a greyed out blue and not clickable. I have removed and re-added my payment method, but it's still not working.

    I am sorry to hear that.

    Please, temporarily turn off the Ask to Buy option and ask your child to attempt the purchase again.

    Sign in to your Family page with an adult Microsoft account.

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/

    Find the child's name and select More options > Spending.

    Under the Ask to Buy section, switch Needs organizer approval to buy things to Off.

    You can turn it back on right after.

    Hi

    I am unable to add money to my child's Microsoft account for an Xbox game. I was able to do it a few weeks ago, and nothing has changed since then. The card is working fine.

    The error message I am getting is

    Check your sender name
    It contains a prohibited word.

    I have tried to add the money through different devices and on different times. but it doesn't make a difference.
    I see this error when there is no name on your Microsoft Account Profile. Please add name here: https://account.microsoft.com/profile/
