    Unable to add a device to my account


    I have a Xbox one X, that I need to have serviced. To do so, I need to add the device to my account. When I go to the Devices page and follow the steps to add the device (Serial number), I get a message saying "Your device has been added". Upon returning to the device page, the xbox is still not available as a option. At this point, I don't know how to proceed in getting my xbox in for service.

    Anyone have any advice?

    Thanks for the replies! I called Xbox support. Since the device was removed from my account, they are unable to re-add it or provide me the serial number.

    It does not show up on my account.

    I see. Have you tried using a wired connection when adding your profile on the console?

    No haven’t tried that, will need to see if I have an ethernet cable.

    I'm sorry to hear that. I understand that you would just like to use your other console for now. I just want to confirm first, does the same issue happen when adding a different profile?
