Unable to access xbox profile or even post in forum using 'pagzma' gamertag account.

Hi. I am having severe problems using my "Pagzma" gamertag account immediately after changing my gamertag to Pagma from the random one that was assigned to me. When I try to access my xbox profile through xbox.com in order to adjust my privacy settings,
I am redirected to "How to add a child to a family account" at http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-child-to-family-account-onl...
despite the fact that the birth year on the account is set to 1973.

I tried several things to fix the problem unsuccessfully. I tried adjusting the birth year and adding the account to another account as a child account but, although Pagzma shows up as a child in my family, I could not access the xBox settings from that
parent account. I then changed the birth year back and removed the account from the family, but the problem persists. I tried adding Pagzma as an adult family member, too. I tried changing the password. I tried changing the email address.

Please help!

No, don't do it!!!

I tried to do exactly this 5 months ago with my old gamertag, and it completely borked my XBL account. My account ended up not being able to 'purchase' anything from the xbl store (including free stuff, games with gold freebies & demos), unable to log in on any other device/system/webpage except the xbox itself, and unable to redeem codes or manage payment options so I couldn't even renew my gold sub, when it ran out last month.

All this has been going on for 5 months and MS can't seem to fix it. I would find it easier to take (the fact that they can't/won't fix it that is) if it was only me it was happening to, but there are a lot of people who have had the same problem, there's even a 49 page thread about it on the support forums Unable to download items, view account details or access website. - 03 - Managing my Xbox Live Account on Xbox 360 - Xbox 360 Support - Xbox.com Forums - Xbox.com and MS just seem to be unable to work out how to fix it.

Some of the guys on there's accounts have been bust since July last year. I've ended up creating a new account, just so I can actually use my XB1.
