UNABLE TO ACCESS PURCHASED TV AND MOVIES ON THE XBOX ONE

When I try to select/Play a movie I have purchased in the past it appears with a notice saying unable to play if it keeps happening contact microsoft support (It has been 2 hours), ontop of the not so perfect AI sent me to the community chat when I asked
to speak to someone (Haha but I don't find the irony and lack of support amusing). The way I see it, the way a jury would see it, is a well respected company withholding purchased products from the customer! I'm not looking to ruffle any feathers but legally
I have rights as a consumer and your customer service is a joke, I just want answers and a swift resolution to the problem so i can keep sitting on my rear end enjoying your product rather than draft lawsuits and calling lawyers.....

To assist you, here is some extra details:

•Tried reseting the xbox aswell as a full shutdown (no change)

•Internet is connected and stable

•Tried different movies and tv shows (no change)

•Checked current Xbox issues and wondering if the issues with buying on the xbox live store is also causing the issue to not access something I purchased months or even years ago

Do you have the Movies & TV app installed?

You can still rent and buy movies in the store but need the app to watch them.

Sorry to hear it. Support is limited at the moment as businesses that are not considered important have been asked to shut down or work from home. Hopefully that situation will be cleared up soon.

In the meantime please try shutting down the console and unplug it for 5 minutes. During this time please unplug your modem/router for at least 60 seconds

Have you checked if all Xbox Live Services are up and running in your region? mahybe is a temporary issue.

I am in Brazil and I am having the same problem, I can not buy or rent movies and TV shows on Xbox one. I did this in Windows 10 and it worked okay, but I want to watch the movies by xbox, because of the larger TV.

When I try to buy a movie, the error 0x80004003 is showed. And if I try to get into my library to see movies purchased/leased by the computer's browser, the same error appears. That is, the error is both to buy and to watch.

If anyone can help, I'm grateful.

All of your purchased movies and TV shows are stored online and synced across the devices you use with your Microsoft account. To watch the movies that you purchased from your Surface device to Xbox One, make sure that you are logged in using the same Microsoft
account. Then, you may go to the Movies & TV app on your Xbox One to watch the movies or TV shows that you purchased.
