    Unable to access my settings.


    Very similar problem with another problem(https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...settings/7f6b1de6-b1dd-47e4-a802-f103b44836ad), I can't access my own settings that I've been trying to change for nearly a week now. I want to play Minecraft with my cousins across the country, but because of how the settings were set back when I was maybe 10, I'm unable to play. Furthermore, now I'm at age(18) and my Microsoft account reflects this, but yet I still get redirected from https://account.xbox.com/settings to this stupid support page https://support.microsoft.com/nl-nl...ge-childs-xbox-privacy-online-safety-settings. I'm at an absolute loss, because I've done everything I could to try to fix this. I can't even friend people now because of this problem!

    I actually got my dad to log into his account yesterday, and even he is confronted with the same exact page when he tries to change both my and his own settings.

    This is likely due to the fact that you are a child account, in this case you won't be granted access to the link since it requires an adult account to change them for you!

    If you are a child account, I am afraid you cannot access them as this need an adult account to change them for you!

    Hi!

    Clear your browser history (how to do) and login to https://account.xbox.com/settings using your Microsoft account. If the issue persist, try to connect using a different browser (e.g. Edge).

    If yours is a child account, you can't change privacy settings. Child accounts are considered all accounts under the age of 16 for the US & EU, 19 for South Korea. If there isn't an adult account associated with the child account, the adult will have to make a Microsoft account & associate the already created child account with it. Only parent accounts can change settings.
