Unable to access my games on my PC with the Game Pass Ultimate

But my subscription is for Game Pass Ultimate and not for Game Pass for PC... My family should have access to the games, right? Otherwise, what is the family plan for?

Yes I'm using the same account on my console and my PC.

I just recently got my PC and this was the first time I was trying to use game pass on it. I'm subscribed to ultimate on my Xbox and was charged on 2/8/2022. When I tried to access game pass on my PC, it said I need to join Ultimate again so I did and now I see another charge on 2/28/2022. 17.84$ CAD everytime. Is Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox and Game Pass Ultimate on PC different?

some (very little) games that are on the xbox are play anywhere titles, the pc side of gamepass has different games available to it that the console has.

if you purchased games on the xbox then if they are a play anywhere title then you can download them on the pc but if they are not you will need to buy them from either windows store or Steam, Origin, Epic, GOG etc etc etc.

Are you absolutely sure it's Game Pass Ultimate? Because there are 3 versions of Game Pass, the console version, PC version and Ultimate, which is the merger of Live Gold with Game Pass and also has Game Pass access on the PC.

If you only have standard Game Pass, not Game Pass Ultimate, then you'd only be able to access Game Pass games that are available on the console. A few of those games are Play Anywhere and you may be able to access them on PC, but you'd need Game Pass Ultimate if you want both Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass or to use cloud gaming.
