    Unable to access money in my Microsoft Account.


    I received a notice that I could get 1 month of Gold for $1. However, the option to use the money in my Microsoft Account is greyed out and cannot be selected. Instead, it only allows selection between Add PayPal or Add Credit Card. And yet, it says: "You
    have (amount dollars) in your Microsoft Account. You will be able to use it as part of your payment when you confirm the purchase. For more information, go to Sign in to your Microsoft account." I did visit the link, but I still can't select it.

    Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card at a retailer. It's not possible to use the currency in your account.

    If you're trying to make a purchase on the website, the website has not been updated to use the new currency system. You'll need to make a purchase on the console in order to use the money in your account.
