Unable to access game shared games

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly ask your brother to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then validate the order for both games if it’s completed.

Ask your brother as well to sign in on your Xbox then try to install or play the game to check if the same issue will occur.

Please perform a powercycle once you have confirmed the license for both games.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

That eould be correct for battlefield only the purchaser has early access and if he has xgu then only he has access to the 10 hour trial

I had a similar issue back in 2013.

My console is setup with 3 accounts, mine, my Daughters and my other half Stu.

I had actually downloaded a game on Stu's account and it had been available to me with game sharing. We then got a new Xbox and didn't setup Stu's account immediately, I was unable to play the game.

Is it possible that you had access to this game via game sharing at some point and have since stopped sharing a console with the owner of the game? Battlefield 4 was released in 2013 when game sharing was new for the Xbox Community.

Just a though as we didn't realise straight away that was why I was unable to play the game

You are unable to share just the games. They are tied to your account. In order to share the games you need to share your account also. This is what is against the Code of conduct. You are unable to share, sell your account or content on your account. As
stated you would be best to change your password and the buyer purchase all these for themselves.

Quote from the code of conduct that this affects:

Don’t engage in fraud or unauthorized transactions. For example, don't:

• Lend, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide third parties access to your accounts or Gamertags

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on games with gold. When sharing they should work. However, you can't access them through full library then games with gold. You need to install them from the all games then access them
from games. Personally just tried three games with gold on kids account. They are able to play them as I share gold with my kids. So if unable to play it may be the

home console setting.
