Unable to Access Friends or Party

I was playing the evolve beta and couldn't speak with friends in game chat or party chat. Then I went to reset and have no access to my friends list, invite to party, or invite to game. Anyone else having the same issue?

Xbox party chat and social hub will not work

Ever since the latest preview update yesterday I have been unable to access my side dashboard, party chat, friends list, notifications, or social hub. Is there any solution to this problem?

Unable to start or join a party, and also can't access some of my account settings on xbox.

 

same here. It is to be expected.

 

I cannot access friend lists on my home screen, and I have hard restarted my xbox one several times now. I can't even invite friends to a party chat if I start a party outside of a game. But yes having the same problem in evolve beta as well as Destiny,
and probably other games as well but those are what I am trying to play right now.

*The error code I am getting is 0x87c40001, which of course doesn't show up in the xbox support section when you type it in, or only type in first 5 like it suggests on xbox one.*

 

I am having the same problem when I restart my Xbox it says "sorry, we can't show your friends right now" can someone please provide me some information on how to fix this or if it is a Microsoft issue.

its taking foreeeeeever and the weekly strike expires today. PLEASE FIX

 

The standard reply of we're sorry, we're working on it. How about "we're sorry we made such a piece of junk and haven't been able to get it to work properly for 3 days in a row since launching over a year ago" and compensate us for all of the missing time
when we could not access the online system. It seems to me that 1/3 of my $60/year spent on Live is wasted because this giant electronic paperweight only works on occasion. Yet we get the same stock response which means exactly nothing.

 

You know, normally I'm pretty patient with this... but this seems to be a persistent issue with xbox live. I make plans with my friends... we gather around 8 or 9 pm to play a game for a few hours.. and for some reason, xbox live is down, or some other
technical issue gets in the way of this.

I know this is a very complex process, but it's pretty aggravating.

 

I actually almost regret getting my Xbox One.. I have had nothing but connection issues or party issues ever since I got it for christmas. I talk for maybe 2 hours with friends before friends go down or live dows
