    Un-downloadable profile on my HDD


    Hello people! I've had a problem for 2 days now and I searched for a solution but did not found one.

    I'm looking into re-downloading my Xbox live profile on my Hard Drive. I've tried it on my Memory Unit and a Flash drive succesfully. But my 250Go Hard drive wont let me download my profile into my Hard Drive.It either: Tell me while downloading that I ''Can't
    perform that action'' or either ''Sorry, Xbox live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later with Error code 8007045D. I really want my profile into my HDD so is there anything im doing wrong? Ive tried everything from this page Error 8007045D occurs when downloading your Xbox Live profile on Xbox 360 and

    It sounds like you need to change the restrictions on your console/profile.

    Here's some information on how to do it:

    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-parental-control

    -

    Also make sure there aren't any age restrictions on your account/Xbox, because this will stop un-rated content being downloadable.

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

    360 Slim HDD question.

    Here's what I did. I took the new HDD and inserted it into my console. Downloaded my profile to the new HDD. It should prompt you to download your profile to the new HDD. If it doesn't, press the middle guide button, go to the HOME tab and there should be
    an option to download profile. Once your profile is on the new HDD, from the DASHBOARD home, scroll to the far right and choose SETTINGS. Go to ACCOUNT and choose LICENSE TRANSFER. After the licenses are transferred to the new HDD select DOWNLOAD HISTORY
    which is located right above where you chose LICENSE TRANSFER. Find Halo 3 or whatever you want on the new HDD and download it again. This process may take awile, depending on how much content you intend to re-download. Hope this helps.

    HELP, my hard drive shows everything as 0kb even though it shows my HDD being nearly full!

    I tried all that but the main problem is there is nothing in the HDD to delete.... Everything said 0KB... Clearing the cache doesn't help and I tried to do anything with the HDD and nothing... I was able to use a USB...

    Plug in USB then format USB to Xbox.

    Connect to net and download update.

    Finished with update download profile.

    Move profile from USB to HDD.

    (My problem is I cant move my profile over just like I couldn't download it into my HDD in the first place)

    Problem should be fixed now.

    fallout 3 downloaded, says disc unreadable

    BTW, the reason to download it straight to a separate storage device is that my understanding of the problem is that some file is corrupted on the main HDD and when you delete it...that file remains on the HDD. And every time you re-download, it uses that
    same corrupted file.

    So by downloading the file somewhere else, you FORCE the system to download a new, un-corrupted file. Hope that all makes sense.

    I'm downloading Earthlock now :)

    I was shocked to find out that it was only 4.4 GB, I thought that it was going to be another 20 GB or 30 GB download.

    It took me 3 1 / 2 hours to download Warframe the first time before I un-installed it. I didn't like Warframe.

    It took me 3 1 / 2 hours to re-download Warframe again before I un-installed it again. I still didn't like it.

    Long story short, my download speed is bad :(

    I'm not going to play Earthlock, but since it is a small game I can afford to have it in my HDD.

    I have the 500 GB HDD and no external HDD.

    Cannot download GTA San Andreas

    I am trying this now, just downloading 9GB of demos. I managed to download Mass Effect DLC earlier today so downloading isn't a problem. The GTA file is 2.98GB, it even appears that size on my HDD when un-complete.
