    Hi,

    i checked my phone bill and someone has used my son's phone number to purchase stuff from Microsoft.

    Both myself and my son hasnt given anyone permission to do this. I called my phone provider and they have told me to get in contact with Microsoft to get the matter sorted as i cant afford the £235 something they have spent.

    There is nothing on my Microsoft account about these purchases and everything ive done to contact someone about this, is just drawing a blank.

    When purchasing via phone number you get a text sending you a code which you must enter on xbox to confirm that the number entered is yours. So this means whoever had made the purchase had either access to your sons phone or had been given the code by
    someone who did. Also if your son has his own separate account check the order history on his profile as someone may have used his account to purchase items and you will be able to see what exact items was purchased. Also as I do not work I cannot help with
    this sort of problem I have tried to give information of which might be able to help you figure out if you know whos been using your sons phone or xbox account.I would recommend contacting Microsoft again as this would be classed as someone doing fraud with

    Précision concernant le paiement par CB, quand la transaction est effectuée, une autorisation est demandé la banque et ensuite microsoft autorise le paiement sauf que pour mon problème, ma banque autorise le paiement et qu'il est refusé ensuite par Microsoft
    (sachant que mon compte est approvisionné et que je n'ai jamais eu de refus de paiement). d'ou ma question, y a t'il un nombre limite de transaction de paiement par Microsoft ?

    Sur une journée, j'ai crédité 2 cartes de 50€ ce qui est très loin des 1000 USD par jour ;)

    Are you trying to purchase the game from your console or from xbox live online? I found that if I try to purchase from my xbox live profile on line I have that problem, but if I go through my xbox console to purchase things I don't. Also you might want
    to check to make sure the 3 digit code on the back of your card has been entered, because that can also cause your card to be declined/ give you an error reading.

    Check billing.microsoft.com to make sure the correct credit card is registered against your account, and that the card isn't an expired version of your card.
