Um auto sign in without kinect...........

Why can't I sign in like I sign in on my 360........ I only use the kinect for the auto sign in. Why can I not sign in automatically without kinect? This is next gen......... Can I get a REAL reason please

You cant sign like on your 360 because the X1 is not a 360.

 

It takes me all of 1 second to sign in manually.....

 

I don't know about you, but it signs me in automatically. Sometimes I don't even touch the controller and it signs me in. It doesn't do anything else properly though.

 

I do just find signing in with the voice command: "Xbox, sign in as Keith" - it works every time & in less than 1 second.

 

How do you assign a name to the Gamertag? so I can use the voice command without saying, choose this person.

The name will already be on there, taken from your Live Account. For example, my Gamertag is obviously but when I sign in it says "Hi Lee!". If I were to use a voice command it would be "Sign in as Lee".

You may just have your facial recognition set up very well. Sometimes I'm signed in before the home page has even loaded, at other times it won't work at all.

 

I would also like automatic sign-in without needing to use Kinect ID.

Xbox One UI developers, please add this.

 

An auto sign in would be quicker then talking to it, I really like stating the obvious

 

@Dynamic, actually I didn't have a name on my account, what I needed to do was sign into live.com go to my profile and add my first name.

Now everything is fine.
