Ultimate Word Challenge

I'm trying to play Ultimate Word Games on my PC. It lets me play the

daily challenge games, all except the crossword puzzle part. I just keep

getting a message that says there's a problem loading the daily

challenge data, and to contact the support team for help. I did contact them, nothing worked that they told me to do so they sent me over here to find an answer.

Microsoft Ultimate Word Games Daily Challenges won't load. Anyone else having that issue.

 

Changing some of your network settings can help resolve the issue. To change the settings, follow the steps below:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then type Internet Options in the search box.
2. Click the Connections tab, and then click on the LAN settings button.
3. Uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN, and then check Automatically detect settings.
4. Click OK, and then click OK again to save the settings.
5. Launch Xbox app and sign in again.

We also recommend that you sign in to a different profile to test if there is an issue with your profile.

If you are still unable to access your game, manually uninstall and reinstall the Windows Store and the Xbox app from your computer by following the steps below:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.  
2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.  
3. Type the following command to uninstall Windows Store: Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage
4. Type the following command to uninstall the Xbox app:Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage  
5. Hit Enter.  
6. Restart your computer.
7. After restarting your computer, go to the Windows PowerShell as administrator again and then type the following command to install the apps back to your computer: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register
   “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
8. Hit Enter.
