Ultimate game sale July 7th-13th

Anyone tell me what Lords of the Fallen is like please? Is it along the lines of Dark Souls?

 

Evolve is a fantastic game. Like the others have said, solo gets boring quick but get a buddy or 2 with you and it's esdily one of the best co-op games out there. If you can get a team of 4 with mics, it is super intense and fun and run for your life but
at the same time run after that doosh monster!! Lol I love playing as support and trapper. Trapper is the key!!

@Goat: My girlfriend bought Lords on the last sale and I still have not touched it lol. Something just keeps getting in the way! Plus I feel like I would rage quit super quick. Ask Brandi, he knows because he loves the Soul games and he's played Lords.

@steelmonkey: Maybe it will still show up. It's a very popular game still and unlike some other games like DA FC4 Mordor, the game has only lowered to 45 on Amazon. It's definitely one of my favorite racers and I'm not a big racing fan either.

 

Yeah,Lords of the Fallen is very much like Dark Souls,not completed it yet but really liked what I've played so far.

 

Ok.....I'll be giving it a miss I think. I never did get into the dying a lot thing lol.

 

Played Evolve on PS4 with a couple friends. Decent game. Nothing amazing and can get boring fast. We did well and it does help to have players who know the rolls well. But still not something I would call amazing. Basically with MP it matters how much
fun you have playing with friends. And having 4 of you chase a monster. But then there are other games that can be played together as well. I played some on the One solo but nobody I knew wanted to play so I finally loaned the game away.

Lords of the Fallen is a game I lucked into when they accidently had it for $9 I think it was. Glad it was no higher. Not bad but, again, fairly average. Easy to figure out the enemy movements and not die if you want. I mostly died falling off a ledge
in a cave messing around. Went to a boss fight and finished that and just decided to give up. It is rough in some areas. It is like Dark Souls but I really feel it is not near as good.

 

I was also one of those that got Lords of the Fallen for $9. lol

 

Ended up getting Saints Row, got Hardline for my lad. Also got Goat simulator and Outlast...... Oh, Master Chief Collection.

 

Is it NOW.... cheaper to get the digital versions rather than the disc versions? Good sale though, they should have more of these instead of just like once a year or something.

 

Depends on the shop you're buying from I suppose. One thing is for sure though, digital is nearly always cheaper if 2 people get to play the same game..... As I and my son do.

 

Some of the games are quite cheap now smileskybird, make sure to buy them before the ultimate sale it's over. I don't know how much they cost though in your country (Australia or New Zealand).

 

I have Horizon 2 already and it's loads of fun, I'm not even a racer fan. I think I can get lords of the fallen, I'm a big souls fan and can handle sub par games like Vampire rain. I might think twice about Evolved, not too sure now. Zoo tycoon is a sure
thing, strangely I want to play Unity again because I really enjoyed it. Sniper elite 3 was almost a definite but I need to check and see if the choppy frame rate is fixed. I'm thinking on playing GTA5 again, graphics may not be exactly as good but it runs
quite smooth. Basically I bought the same games on ps3/360, I'll do the same with ps4/xb1.
