Ultimate Family Sharing

Hello I have 3 xboxes on my family plan my wifes and daughters, am I really forced to buy a whole other subscription for my daughter for her to have gold and gamespass too? My home xbox is my wifes so her and I have same games and gold, but I cant have
my account on my daughters xbox as well as my wifes. Wish I could just pay more to have an all encompassing subscription and have it be a family pass. Or am I missing something?

Why doesn't family sharing work on PC with my Ultimate subscription? My son can use our family Ultimate on his Xbox but not on PC.

You would need to set his console as your Home in order to share the Ultimate subscription with him. https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

However, you can only set 1 console as your Home at a time, so if you are sharing with anyone else on the Series X, they will lose access to the subscription and either you would need to be signed in or you leave the Series X as your Home and buy your son
his own subscription.

At the moment you can only xbox share with one other console, total of 2 consoles.

Yes I think there should be a Game Pass Ultimate Family package for 4 or 5 users to share.

I should say that my son has his own account/Xbox gamer tag.

I’m sharing the Ultimate pass with him as a family member.
