Discus and support uk xbox one abroad in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i moved from the uk and living in singapore at the moment. unfortunately netflix, bbc iplayer etc is not avalbale in singapore. i have had a look into...     uk xbox one abroad


    i moved from the uk and living in singapore at the moment. unfortunately netflix, bbc iplayer etc is not avalbale in singapore. i have had a look into changing my dns and ip address like on the old 360 to get the american netflix but it seems a it more tricky
    this time around... can anyone help on this

    I have read threads from people in Qatar who have xbox live, despite it not being on the list. I will still have a uk account so my question is can I continue to use xbox live from my UK account abroad

    Edit: solved. I am abroad on holidays and tried to buy from here (outside UK) (still living in the UK though!).

    Solution: I VPN-ed to a server in the UK and purchased. It worked.

    Head over to Settings>Network. You can change your DNS settings from there. However, you will need to change the settings each time you turn the system back on as they will not stay.

    Of course it is, imagine you buy your console in the UK and you want to play it abroad, you cannot.

    In addition to that, Sony had made it clear that their console is not region locked.

    This is a huge issue, one that needs to be addressed.
