UK xb1 day 1 owners,your community needs you

It's £30 right ? the product is 3 months old, I've played on it a lot in the 3 months. Buy a brand new car and drive it off the forecourt you loose thousands, buy a PC or a TV and check the price of them in 3 months.

It's likely to be £350 at Xmas £300 the Xmas after that..(clearly I don't know this, it's for example)

We all know as early adopters this is going to happen at some point in time. I really don't understand why people are surprised when it happens.. Microsoft is a business. If the competition in business edges you out you have to fight back, price, USP, marketing
are ways of doing this..

I think it's a great business move from MS :-

Lowering the price (always a good thing to tell a new consumer)

USP = Titanfall

Marketing :- almost free advertising due to the above...

I for one are pleased that Microsoft are trying to get as many people on board for titan fall. My day one purchase was money well spent

 

Hrm... I have argued it's the cost of being a day one buyer, but I will say it's also good marketing to offer something. Why? Because right now MS is showing that the price drops pretty quickly and if you buy before the price drop you're SOL. So why would
the smart buyer not just wait more to get a better deal since if they buy now it may go down again soon enough anyways (I mean if it goes down in just a few months how do they know another price drop won't happen soon? And if they buy now they'll get nothing
for it. If MS at least gives out three months xbox live gold which would cost MS nothing they could see they won't totally lose out if they don't wait and see if another price drop).

Basically, I don't think MS should be required to do something, but I think it may be better PR/marketing to actually do something (it's a bad idea in marketing to encourage people to wait and be able to think about if they really want it, you want them
to buy when the impulse is there. Plus on a console how well you do at first really sets the tone for everything after).

Now your feedback fits into most of the first few topics so choose one wisely, on a constructive note. Speak on the issues you have had, the options MS has given you, and the most important the features and options that were not even supported in your region
for the longest time after release. Yes sir you may be owed some compensation for your patience and understanding!!!!

It's not considered a discount when you ask to get compensation.

Many features U.s. Had working, while it took more time in U.K for those features to be available. A month or two live time should be considered for this.

Remember when the cloud failed and they added a month to everyone's live time because of it.
