UK warranty for Xbox

One are you sure you bought it new ? Cause xbox one x hasnt been sold new since 2017 when they discontinued it

You will have to take it up with the retailer and noone can do anyrhing about warranty because its no longer manufactured since the Ramp up to x series and s series which is why they discontinued it.

The xbox one x wouldve been last sold new in 2017 as it was a popular item back then and anything after 2018 it shouldve been pulled from.the shelves by the retailer

Manufacturers cant pull products only retailers from shelves

That would be like asking a tv manufacturer to fix a tube tv in 2020

Only thing new in 2020 is xbox one s

There is little point in an x when the x series does more at the slightly higher cost.

Yes, it was brand new and sealed. Gift cards were working as well. Im waiting for game.couk response.

Xbox One X consoles were still being sold new by UK retailers in 2020, standard and special editions. I bought a Cyberpunk edition and registered it to my Microsoft account and it gave a full 12 months warranty.
I would definitely check with Game as it`s possible that it could have been a customer return which they have sold again as new, as that type of thing has happened to me a couple of times from various UK retailers.

Was the box your console came in sealed when you bought it from Game?

With a UK warranty it is actually the retailers who should rectify faults under warranty though most try to deny it and tell the customer that it`s not their problem and pass it on to the manufacturers.
