    UK Virgin Tivo Xbox One Live TV Pictures


    Hi. The 50Hz update works well in the UK and am enjoying watching TV through my XBox One and Tivo. There is an issue if Tivo is set to 1080i picture quality. Through the Xbox the picture is usually good however there is a problem specifically with the colour
    red. Close up images of red 'flutter' on the screen. This is especially noticeable in football matches (Bayern Munich last night for example). The problem can be resolved by reverting to 720 on Tivo but I don't want to compromise my viewing in any way. Is
    this an upscaling issue and something that will be resolved in the future? Has this been noticed by anyone else? Think it may be UK Tivo specific as Sky owning friend doesn't notice. Thanks for any feedback.

    I have the exact same issue. Virgin TiVo going into Xbox one via HDMI, then HDMI to 5.1 receiver, then HDMI to TV. No 5.1 from the Virgin TiVo movie channels, but everything else is fine.

    I have the exact same issue. Virgin TiVo going into Xbox one via HDMI, then HDMI to 5.1 receiver, then HDMI to TV. No 5.1 from the Virgin TiVo movie channels, but everything else is fine.

    Xbox One Live TV Issues - Like Everyone Else

    Hello. I'm an Xbox One owner (UK) and am having problems with 'The One' seeming to lose connection to my Virgin Tivo box every couple of days. It doesn't happen when I'm actually watching live tv but when the xbox has been powered down to standby via voice
    command ("Xbox turn off") and then powered back up in the same manner ("Xbox on"). The Tivo set-top box is powered to standby via its remote but when I power it back up I sometimes have just a black screen when the xbox is on and working?? This has lead to
    countless 'Reset TV settings' in the xbox settings.

    I'm not experiencing any problems with the picture freezing or anything but my question is, does your advice that's posted above only relate to picture freezing or does it help with the problem I'm encountering as well?

    All help/guidance appreciated.

    TV Signal Freezes

    I had the freezing tv picture on a uk virgin media tivo. Worked from Friday to Tuesday then started freezing every few seconds. I tried the hard reset of my console and everything is working again. Same cables, same connection, just a console hard reset.
    As stated previously let's hope MS release a patch for this.

    And to Bird, to me it is not an entertainment hub, as i live in the UK, and the TV features have no effect for me, as i run Tivo on Virgin media, and like the rest of the UK and Europe, and China and Japan, we cannot use some of the stuff. Apart from the
    TV part, it does everything my Xbox 360, ps3 and Tivo does. So what's new for me?
