The X1 is doing great here in the UK too, especially since the launch of Titanfall. It's also doing well and has a firm position on the Most Wanted list on Game.co.uk

Willsky lets not turn this into a comparison please. In my humble opinion, sales from a consumers stand point mean very little in the context of preference. Some prefer Sony, some prefer Nintendo and some prefer Microsoft. So long as we are all having fun,
it shouldn't matter who makes the most money. This thread is about a price cut from a retailer, nothing at all about note sharing and price comparing. There are issues and I do not disagree with you there, but through updates we can only hope that most these
issues will be addressed (aside the ones that have not already been addressed) Thank you.

I know it was only 5 consoles

But xbone &fifa for £299. 2 weeks ago at rrp would be £490 (£190 off!)

Recently the titanfall bundle plus one game £370, £180 below rrp

We are seeing these deals in the uk as its Microsofts second biggest market

They must be selling at a massive loss at these prices which is desperate after just 4 months

LOL! I can relate. Here is what I do. Get my wedding tape and watch it in reverse. The car pulls up, she gets in and drives away Joke joke! Lol. You are right though, too much love / hate. It needs to stop if you ask me. We all love games and game consoles
so what's the big deal eh.

If they are losing money that's not our problem we don't pocket anything we just get a good gaming console for cheap

sony are losing money on there consoles we could be to but who cares

It's like people need to "take sides" over which console they choose. I've been around the block a few times in life, there's things in life that I will fight or argue over, a choice of console though? never!

The X1 is selling just fine here in the States, has been in the top 10 on Amazon.com for over 2 weeks. The PS4 has also been in stock for almost 2 weeks and has not sold out?

I don't think they'd quite generate the sales you anticipate if they'd of launched at £300. Sure it's a better price and would have bought in a few more people but this is just a case of seeing the sale tag.

You could sell anything for £300 and it might not sell, but if you then put a £400 sticker above it and cross it out, people see the £100 saving and jump on it, even though it was £300 all along. I think this is working on a similar logic that people are
only snapping them up at £300 because it IS a saving, if they had launched at that RRP, nobody would be interested.

Hopefully that made sense.
