    UK Price Drop

Firstly I want to point out that this price drop indicates a willingness on Microsoft's part to adapt and change based on the market and feedback which is a fantastic sign going forwards.

However, this comes only 4 and a bit months after the release, and despite being a avid supporter of the Xbox brand I was on the fence right up until the announcement of Titanfall. This was a game-changer for me and it made the choice between PS4 or X1 obvious,
I took the £80 price difference on the chin as I knew the launch windows of games was just better than PS4s. But now less than half a year down the line and prior to the game that I'm certain was the deciding factor for a fair few people and the price is cut
    back.

People are saying its only by £30 and I shouldn't be fretting but the Titanfall bundle is RRP'd at £399, whereas I will have paid £490 when all is said and done. I don't regret purchasing the day-one edition at all, but I feel that MS should do their best
to return the support that we gave them in the early days.

I've spoken to support a few times regarding this and there is no clear answer one way or the other, as I doubt the company even knows. With the release of the game I've been waiting for mere hours away I thought it prime time to post.

    Thanks for reading,

    - Tian

    :)

Do Launch and First Month Xbox One Consoles Deserve a Free Game?

The Xbox One saw a price drop in the UK to 399 GBP, from its launch price of 429 GBP. That's the only price drop to date.

  3. Are we going to see a further price cut/drop for Xbox One in the UK?

As you have heard the price drop in U.S but is they going to be a further price drop here in the UK you think?

    $450 = £270

I assume a U.S machine does not work in the UK? or does it?

  5. £399.99 should have been the launch price here anyways, so i'm glad it's now a thing. Throw in a free copy of titanfall (sounds silly but could be good!) and you may be on to something

  7. Lets just hope everyone with the XBox One day One Achievement get some recognition in the future for being early adopters and paying the much inflated price.

Remember to play Titanfall you must buy Xbox Gold on top so that adds £30 to the price. I was given a years free XBox Live Gold with my Day One

Why should people with day one achievement get recognition? I only brought my xbox one at the end of January in preparation of titanfall. But I don't think I'll even buy it now, not least for a while, seeing as I paid £30 more for my console plus the cost
of the game, say £35-55, I'm not swallowing £80ish for the privilege.
