uk power cord and console

I bought X box one x on the UK amazon site. it came with a UK power plug. Do I need to buy a power converter or could I just buy the US power cord? the console is for UK market.

The Xbox One X has a multi voltage power supply built in so you'll only need to replace the power cable.

That looks like a typical European Plug (Europlug). If you bought this console from the United Kingdom, you should have been supplied with a UK power cord, however it really depends how you purchased your console.

All is not lost however, all you require is a UK adaptor to connect the console to a UK power socket.

Power outlets in the UK are different from the ones used in the United States, which means that the power cord included with the console will not be compatible with your home's outlets. You will need a "plug adapter" for this to work.

The US uses 120 Volt power and the UK I believe 220 or higher. Im not sure if a UK power supply will work or not but I know they make Volt converters that will solve your issue. You need one that can convert form 220 to 120.
