    Hi.

    I'm going to Canada tomorrow, but I just wanted to know, can I use a UK Xbox 360 hard drive in a Canadian Xbox 360?

    I know if I took the whole console over I'd need a power adapter but what about the hard drive?

    Hi,

    Peripherals for Xbox 360 (a hard drive is a peripheral on the 360) have no regional lock outs. Therefore, hard drives, controllers, wheels etc work on all 360 consoles, regardless of the original machine.

    Are you able to test any other backwards compatible games?

    Generally issues with backwards compatible games on the 360 is down to the hard drive. A lot of third party purchases of hard drives tend to result in the hard drive being a knock off which will not work with backwards compatibility.

    To play backward compatible games on the Xbox 360 like NFS Underground 2, you will need an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed in the Xbox 360 E. If you do not have this hard drive, then there is no way to play the backward compatible games.
