UK download code on different store

There's really no way to guarantee it will work. It's always best to buy codes for your own region just in case. Codes for games can be universal, but until you try to redeem it or unless Amazon says anything about it you won't really know.

Problem is even when you get a code , there is no download! Namco Bandai acknowledge the game is not adding to accounts and to find the game on the store to download it.... but there is no option to download it (UK store).

Downloadable content is licensed on a national basis, because different nations have different copyright laws, and it can be illegal to use a song, an image or a piece of software code in the Ukraine when licensed for the UK.
Therefore, there's a protection mechanism which prevents downloads when you are outside of the UK. In short, it's the law.

As you've no doubt found out, codes are region locked. Now that you you've transferred to Poland you can't redeem the code.

It's not possible to convert a code to a different region.

Your only recourse here is to buy a pass for the Poland region. Since the old code will still redeem on a UK account you could sell this on and cancel out the cost.

We might be readin the OPs post differently. My interpretation of it is:

They moved from the UK to Poland; they changed the details on everything; they visited a store in Poland and that is where they bought the GP Code which then wouldn't work.

OP: Did you change the region in the Store as well?

Sorry, I got it backwards. Since you bought it in the UK store, you would have to be in the UK in order to download it.
