UK content improvements

Discus and support UK content improvements in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have noticed that there are some big omissions from the UK films on Xbox Video.     UK content improvements


    I have noticed that there are some big omissions from the UK films on Xbox Video. Only one Lord of the Rings film for instance! The biggest problem though is that so many films are unavailable to purchase in high definition. 20th Century Fox, MGM and
    Warner Bros being the biggest offenders!

    What can be done to improve this situation?

    I can't buy a Rocky film & Avatar is only available in standard definition... what's that about??

    STX not available in my region

    you need to be physically in the UK with a UK account to BUY that UK content

    you are physically in IReland and accessing a region you are not in UK for UK content

    all 3 must match

    LOCKED - Migrating a US account to a UK account

    no that is incorrect

    you can use dlc accross all profiles

    the UK account does not need to be gold however you do need uk ms points for UK content

    to download us region locked content you must physically be in US and as stated in the sticky all MUST match

    however you can use a UK account and uk ms points and a uk disk to download the UK content as you physically live there and your other gamertag can still use the content however you cannot purchase region locked content out of region

    Region locked content means that UK content is not licensed for anywhere but UK as per the terms of use

    @neko it wouldnt matter if you changed to uk You are failing the region check fir the german content thats why its not completing

    You would have to match uk account plus uk geolocation and uk content (repurchased as the region lock content doesnt transfer between regions)

    Actually it's not that simple to give everyone access to UK or USA content

    International laws on content and distribution rights decides whwere content goes

    What is allowed in UK may not be allowed in Russia

    Content must be localized in those instances
