UHD

I know with my UHD tv, it defaulted to 1080p until I changed a setting to provide UHD output to the xbox. Perhaps there's a setting that enables the port to output UHD?

The only way to view your Xbox One at 4K UHD: Is to connect Xbox One HDMI Output to an A/V Home Theatre Receiver capable of upscaling 1080p output via HDMI to 4K UHD for UHD television.

Note: You will potentially see visual artefacts and/or image tearing by upscaling 1080p to 4K UHD.

1.4 not but 1.4b can do 4k/24fps and UHD/30fps. 4k is not interesting... we all have UHD!! 4k is in cinemas and 17:9.

I really hope the pass thru will work for 4k/UHD!!

Its best not to put things between uhd devices and your tv

The best solution would be all UHD devices to your tv any hd only to your receiver then to your tv

Plus optical out to your receiver

This reduces latency

Also you gotta remember you have to have more UHD hdr compatibLE cables if you insist on the receiver and Not all hdmi cables are created equal

Usually hdmi2.0 should do

Older cables like 1.4 wont support hdr or UHD

Also have to.remember not all ports are UHD OR HDR

As mentioned more high UHD devices you have on a single chain the more demand for speed on that single link

Are you referring to the original Xbox One? If so, that is not something that is happening at this time. If you would like to have a console capable of playing UHD and HDR, you'll want to look into the Xbox One S or hold off until the Project Scorpio console
