UHD bluray problem XBox one S

All my content is upscale in 4K on my 4K tv (samsung UN65HU7250), except when i use UHD blu ray, this one play in 1080p!

Any idea about my problem?

The Xbox One S 4K Blu-Ray Player Is A Disaster...Good Job!!

uhd bluray and bluray disc, uhd bluray is bleached!! bluray noise levels are consistently elevated!!

I thought I had cataracts or color blindness....This console can really play uhd bluray or bluray?

 

Xbox One S Blu Ray Player Issues

Every bluray I have (one 4k UHD Bluray and dozens of regular bluray titles) does not work with the Xbox One S I have. They work just fine in my other Xbox One (regular 500gb, not S or elite XBO, and obviously not the 4k UHD bluray) but every time I get an
HDCP error for 5 minutes flipping between the error screen and bluray app frozen, then it just tells me it cannot read the disc. Apparently the Xbox One S needs a different bluray app than the regular Xbox One bluray app. Maybe if the community was allowed
to make a bluray app for the Xbox One S it could save Microsoft some face since I have more faith in the community at fixing a problem via their own bluray app than Microsoft fixing it.

I'd like to get a little bit of clarification -

1. Easy one first - Please double check that you are using the UHD disc and not the 1080p Blu-Ray disc of your movie.
   
2. Where are you seeing that your Blu-Ray is only being shown in 1080p?
3. What movies are you experiencing this with?

Now, as far as some troubleshooting goes, we have a guide for
troubleshooting 4K and HDR on Xbox One S. Additionally, you could try
uninstalling the blu-ray player,
power cycling your Xbox One S console, and then re-installing the content and trying again.

I'm having similar problems... there is definitely an issue with either the Blu-ray app or the latest system update. None of my normal Blu-rays upscale to 4k anymore. And I've tried literally everything to fix it, nothing works. Xb Support on Twitter is
no help at all, they just want to blame it on everything else.

This needs to be investigated further by MS in-house because it's getting annoying not being able to use my XB1 S like I'm supposed to.

 

Mine is doing the same on Xbox One S ... and plus the Audio Sync issues make it like watching a Bruce Lee flick

I am having the same experience as ItsParN. I have the Samsung UHD 7250. The smart hub Netflix and Amazon are in Ultra HD when streaming. The Xbox One S dashboard is in 4k or upscale 4k except the Ultra Blu Rays that I try. When I put those in it goes
back to 1080P. Advanced video options in the settings show green check marks for my tv 4K options. The Xbox One S Netflix app doesn't not show the 4k Ultra content. Neither does the Amazon app.

 

just found the solution !

uncheck 24Hz option and now im in 4k 60p for my UHD blu ray

 

Thanks so much! This worked for me! Just to clarify if any others are confused you need to go into settings, then display and audio, then advanced options, then uncheck 24hz.
