UHD Blu ray

    UHD Blu ray


    recently purchased my first UHD blu ray movie for my Xbox one s. Gone to play and it doesn't recognise the disc, normal blu ray is fine just the UHD. After reading a few forums it appears there were some early problems. Can anyone help? The movie is magnificent
    seven. This was one of the big reasons for me buying the Xbox one s.

    Is the Xbox One S worth getting for UHD playback?

    I think it is worth it for the UHD blu rays. Don't think it upscales standard blu ray but your tv will do that anyway.
    With the news that they are adding atmos too I think it is a bargain compared to other uhd players. Get a xbox as well thrown in.

    UHD Blu ray

    Hey Beecher!

    Hmm. Do you have any other UHD discs that you can test out in your Xbox One S? There was an issue right after the release of the Xbox One S and certain movies and after much troubleshooting, we ultimately narrowed it down to a bad printing of specific movies.
    I would suggest trying a different UHD movie to see if that works so we can be sure the issue is with
    The Magnificent Seven and not your console as a whole. If other movies do work, I would suggest swapping your copy for a new one to see if the issue persists.

    Let us know if it does and we can try some more troubleshooting. UHD Blu ray :)

    If you are going to play movies via DVD, Blu Ray or 4k UHD Blu Ray, yes.

    Are you playing these movies from a 4k UHD Blu Ray or streaming service? If from disk, have you updated the Blu Ray player app on the Xbox?

    Easy one first - Please double check that you are using the UHD disc and not the 1080p Blu-Ray disc of your movie.! I ts a UHD blu ray

    Where are you seeing that your Blu-Ray is only being shown in 1080p? Info button on my remote

    What movies are you experiencing this with? The martian

    I re installing the aps and noting change ! 1080p again :(

    Nope, not quite right.

    Original Xbox - DVD

    Xbox 360 - DVD (or more specifically, DVD-9).

    Xbox One - Blu-ray

    Xbox One S and X - UHD Blu-ray drive, but games still on standard Blu-ray.

    Scarlet will have a UHD BD drive so that can still play all formats of movie discs. Likely that games will be on 100GB discs.

    Do games have a region lock?

    And 4k UHD Blu Rays are region free, although not so for most digital copies.
