UHD-Blu-Ray is not working

I bought the 4K UHD Blu-ray “Best of 4K” (ASIN: B01C6H8CLS) and had to realize that this disk does not play on XBOX ONE X:

I just see a message with error “0x91d70000” and that the disk seems to be no Blu-Ray. All information I found in the
community and support forums did not route to a solution. So I cannot watch the video. The UHD-Disk plays on a vary different set of other players (LG UP970, Sony UBP-X800, Panasonic DMP-UB900EGK)
– without any problem. So this problem happen exclusively on XBOX. The Blu-Ray App does not play the disk, and I like to request a fix to be able to play this disk. Could you please update the app to make it work?

Xbox One S Blu-ray 4k Blu-ray

The Blu-ray player app, even when running on an Xbox One S, does not recognize UHD Blu-ray discs.

I looked up the error (91d70000) and it indicates that the format of the disc is unrecognized.

The app lists UHD Blu-ray in the description, so I am assuming this is a bug, and not just unimplemented support.

 

Is the Xbox One S worth getting for UHD playback?

I think it is worth it for the UHD blu rays. Don't think it upscales standard blu ray but your tv will do that anyway.
With the news that they are adding atmos too I think it is a bargain compared to other uhd players. Get a xbox as well thrown in.
