Uh Oh... "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil" can't run at 900p for MS anymore!

Step one, have your friend get a character to 70.

Step two, make a Torment 6 game on your own level 1 character

Step three, invite your 70 friend and do bounties on torment 6 until it becomes a struggle for them to kill and drop the difficultly at that point. Act 4 "Clear the hell rift" gives good xp / gold even on lower torments.

If the person is geared well enough and can actually do torment 6 it takes about an hour to level a character to 70.

Because the only really big thing in the expansion is the rifts. Other than getting the royal ring from act 1 bounty boxes and getting rift fragments to open rifts there's really no reason to do them. Legendary drop rates are dramatically increased inside
of rifts. Doing a rift on torment 2 gives you the same drop chance of finding a legendary on torment 6 outside of a rift. On T6 it's a 463% drop chance increase inside of a rift.

 

Stupid question.

I know you have to basically beat the game 4 times to get all of the achievements. Is it best just to play classic Acts I-IV 4 times and then play the expansion or play classic once and then the expansion straight away. Rinse and repeat this 4 times?

Also, are there any more expansions planned?

 

Act 5 is just tacked on right after you finish 4 and can be completed in under an hour. For expansions, no there's nothing announced yet.

Except for what I said is relevant to your post. You could do rifts at lower levels but there's no reason to even do so when the point of the game is min maxing a character at level cap. D3 is a grinding gear progression game and there's no point in starting
the grind pre 70.

 

It means what you said before pretty much fried my brain, not that it was irrelevant.

 

Just so everyone in this thread knows, PC games are not hitting 4,000p. They are hitting 4K or 2160p, 16x the resolution of 1080p. The highest planned resolution available on the market is 4130p or 8K, but the ridiculous processing power required to render
at 8K along with the cost of monitors means no game supports it.

Xbox One could push out 4K (30fps, due to HDMI cable restriction) on games like Pong or Tetris, but won't due to the fact that it would then have to upscale 1080p games to look good on a 4K display.

Shame Tetris Xbox One is 1080p 60fps, they should have supersampled it.

 

There's an 8K now? What do those monitors cost, £50,000?

 

Oh. My apologies then for taking that the wrong way. But yes the rift drop rate is very silly.
