UFO ONLINE?

I was infected by this but for me it isn't funny... theres 3 of them always in the same spot on every game not only in free roam but even in one of my favorite races I hit them and it's annoying, pretty close too my apartment as well hope this gets fixed
soon.

 

What exactly is the infection? Just your money and rank reset?

@Mafivee The infection for me is the UFO's being in all of my games were there in the middle of a fourway road in my races and in free rome, and seems to have a 20 yard radius invisible forcefield which blocks the whole street stopping me in my tracks while
racing. They would not bother me whatsoever otherwise.

 

The UFOs are the result of a mod menu that should have remained hidden, but like everything else, it got leaked due to the original modder being blackmailed by some scrub for the updates. As a result, the modder released it to the public or he would have
had his personal info leaked to the Internet and had the police come to his house and break in (a practice known as swatting).

The UFOs are the result of the mod menu, and they are also considered an "infection" as once someone or anyone sees them, they will continue to see them until they shut off their console. The reason being is because GTA: O keeps the same map consistently,
so the world is persistently loaded unlike GTA: IV, where the map was refreshed every time you left the Free Roam.

Keeping on topic is a good thing.

As far as being "infected", I have not heard anything of this. However, it seems as if the UFO's will be in your temporary saves which will follow you into another lobby. I have found that power cycling my 360, and then going back online takes care of the
issue. ( That is unless you go into a lobby where they are being spawned again)

The hack client in which we are speaking has not affected anyone in my lobbies so far, so not really worried about it. Just for protection though, I always capture what exactly is in my inventory before I go online just for safety purposes.

Just remember, that your cars, money, rank, and all inventory is on the "cloud" so if..and this is a big IF de-ranking happens, or you happen to get money taken from you, power off, go back online, and the cloud save will take care of the rest!

Don't let the modders scare you from online gaming, for if they do, they are accomplishing what they have set out to do!

 

I saw a few YouTube videos and read a few articles about it so I should be up to date with this little episode. I've only ran into these phantom UFO modders once and was very weird which was enough to be cautious.
