UbisoftExtension.exe file corrupted

Please verify game files (Ubisoft Connect), To do this, open the Ubisoft Connect launcher. Locate the game: that's causing issues.

Click on the game's icon and select "Properties".

Choose "Verify Integrity of Game Files" or "Repair".

Ubisoft Connect will then scan and attempt to repair any corrupted files.

And then run system file checker (SFC). Open Command Prompt as administrator. (Search for "cmd" in the Start Menu, right-click, and select "Run as administrator").

Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Windows will scan for and attempt to repair any corrupted system files.

Next is to temporarily disable your antivirus software to see if it's causing the issue. Add an exception in your antivirus software for the UbisoftExtension.exe file, if necessary. Make sure that your antivirus software isn't scanning or deleting the file.

Then run Ubisoft connect as administrator. Right-click the Ubisoft Connect icon and select "Run as administrator".

Make sure that your operating system is up to date as well as your graphics drivers because an outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues.

I tried to change the name of the UbisoftExtension.exe but it still kept opening Ubisoft Connect in the back ground.

If people want to stop this from happening just delete the UbisoftExtension.exe file.
That way the app no longer opens when you open the xbox app

You can still access Ubisoft connect when you want.

Wrong you dont need to remove the app. you just delete 1 file,

its just something that happens but if you tred to edit it that could have done it and editing files is a violation of the terms of use but i think it sounds like a error by your xbox so you should be fine

It just happens sometimes, I have experienced it myself once or twice.

Unfortunately when a saves corrupt there is no way to recover it, so you would need to delete it and start again.

If you go into your consoles memory> games> Batman> it should be checked with an exclamation mark.

That is the one that needs to go.
