Ubisoft servers and trials fusion?

I wish Uplay would just disappear. It does nothing but get in the way, both on console and on PC (it's even worse on PC).

 

Well so I got to admit the support side has been really good. But It looks like uplay is here to stay, infact I think they are enforcing it now with game like watchdogs and the devision coming out. Just in the same way you have to have an Origin account
to play EA games.

 

These companies and their silly branding services... *sighs*

 

Lets just hope by the time Watch Dogs, The Division arrive they will be sort out a lot of issues people are reporting.

 

@ Lofty, might be worth getting your wife to contact support too if she's still having problems like me. Find It very strange that I some how ended up with two accounts that are conflicting with each other even tho I only ever set up one.

Still waiting for ubisoft to confirm that they have unlinked my gamertag from one account so I can then link It to my other account.

 

Totally agree with Lofty Who,with games likes Watchdogs,The Divison and the Crew which got a lots of online features,Ubisoft really needs to fix/improve their online services.

I am actually surprised more people dont report issues with Uplay. I know one of the MVPs had the exact issue as the OP. While Ubi did fix the issue, it wasnt as simple as you might think.

 

Im still waiting for them to contact me about unlinking my account. Hope it gets done soon cause she who must be obeyed will be home soon and I bet she will want to watch the bloody eurovision tonight!

 

You can unlink a Uplay account from an Xbox Live account on their website. Log into your Uplay account, go to your profile, then any linked accounts are shown at the bottom along with "unlink" buttons.

Do that at your own risk though, cos I don't know exactly what your issue is and whether unlinking your account will only make it worse. You're probably better off waiting for Ubisoft support to deal with it.

 

Thing is its attached to an account I dont remember setting up so I cant access that account to unlink it. Like u said, better off waiting.

 

Just out of interest, do you need to set up a Uplay account to play these games or can you just leave it?

I ask because when I play Trials it asks me to set up one but I just hit the option to basically do it at a later date.

 

Now that is interesting. Just loaded up my partners silver account and played this game. All leader boards and track central work fine and she doesn't have a uplay account.

Still not heard back yet about my problem.

 

Anyone know how long it takes for ubisoft support to sort out issue like this? Still not heard anything from them since saturday.

 

@Lofty I would set up a Uplay account. You get Uplay credits for completing in game tasks that can be used to purchase stuff across all Ubisoft games.
