While participating in the EA Access beta, I'm currently enjoying Peggle 2, a game I probably would've never played without this subscription unless it became free. After realizing the potential this kind of service seems to have in the future, I can't help
but hope for similar services with other big companies like Ubisoft and Microsoft. With each service being around $4.99 theoretically, EA, Ubisoft and Microsoft, I would be happy to subscribe and probably cancel my Gamefly account in the process, unless Gamefly
gets some sense and offers a digital subscription. Would you guys be willing to pay for additional services like EA Access and potentially pay $90 a year? Also I gotta question about the EA Access Vault, will the four games now still be available after it's
    updated with newer games?

    :)

    Microsoft's new YT policy changes

It would only apply to games published by 'Microsoft Games Studios'. As Microsoft would not be able to enact policy on products from other companies like Rockstar, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, etc.

Yes, so long as priced appropriately.

In an idea however, it would be managed by Microsoft, so you only deal with the 1 person, rather than all the publishers. Not sure how they would work it.

I'm going to guess that Ubisoft et all are waiting to see how it pans out with EA before trying anything. If it is successful, then I think we'll be seeing more of these access programs with a premium version which offers newer, more up to date titles as
    part of the sub.

The whole thing doesn't really interest me, because I don't rent games and the older games in the "vault" if I haven't played them by now, it's probably because I don't have any interest in them.

Having said that, I can see how this program is beneficial to others. I'm sure, as SpaceReamer mentioned, EA is basically the guinea pig for this. Other companies are waiting to see how much money EA makes off of this to jump on board. I should also mention
that EA are kings of microtransactions, so "giving away" their games probably isn't as big of a hit as it would be to Ubisoft, since EA probably recoups a lot of money from people buying things in the game itself.

EA Access has fantastic value and if others like MS and Ubisoft would offer something similar I would gladly join!

EA will recoup some of the Money but the 5 day early Access is quite risky for them. Their future new releases must be on spot with such a program or nobody will buy the final game...

Heh. Their new releases are never spot-on and boatloads of people still buy them. It's not that risky, it is just another incentive for people
    to buy the Access pack.

Yep, I'd subscribe to more than one publisher. Say if EA, Ubisoft, and Activision all did it for £20 each, that's £60 a year for an eventually huge selection of game's and masses of discount's. I probably waste more than that on a few game's that I end up
wishing I'd not bought each year.

If this does go over well and other publishers follow suit these may stay as MS exclusive as Sony said it isnt a good value for their customers.

I just think if you're a digital only consumer, programs like this are a must. Since I can't trade in my games and Gamefly isn't a guarantee way of always getting what you want, spending $15-20 a month for EA, Ubisoft and MS games would be such a big improvement.
I understand that smaller publishers like Square Enix and Warner Bros couldn't offer something like this, but at least the majority of the games I play could be accessed through these type of services.

Yeah, I would much rather decide value for myself. I can see value here. In a year I may get enough games and dlc discounts to cover the cost. And then I would get access to these games for free basically. I was going to keep BF4 from gamefly for $25
but instead will go this route. That also means I can play Madden and Fifa. I will be getting Inquisition so that will be a discount. Not to mention the possible dlc discounts. I am willing to give a try for a year and see. But for $30 not much of a risk.

3.99 euro is a good deal. I'll pay that for 1 month and play BF4 and Madden until my hearts content instead of paying 60 euro each. It's a no-brainer.
