    Ubiquiti (Routers): MAC Filtering
    Login Information



    • Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    • Username: ubnt
    • Password: ubnt
    MAC Filtering

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type in the gateway address, 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar, hit enter.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type ubnt for both username and password.
    5. Once of the main page, select the Wireless tab.
    6. On the Wireless page, scroll down to the “Wireless Security” section.
    7. Check the MAC ACL box.
    8. In the “Policy” dropdown select the Allow option.
    9. Enter in the MAC addresses of the device you want to give permission to access your network.
    10. Select the Add button to add the device.
    11. You can also remove the MAC address by selecting the Remove option.
    12. Select Save/Apply to save the changes.


    Disable MAC Filtering

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.

    5. Once of the main page, select the Wireless tab.

    7. Uncheck the MAC ACL box.
    8. Select Save/Apply to save the changes.
