typo the xbox change gamertag "here is what your gamertag will look like"

Wait, your looking to change your gamertag? Your gamertag is attached to the Microsoft Account (ie: Windows Live ID, or what have you).

So, if you wanted to change the e-mail associated with the gamertag that would only be possible by changing the Microsoft Account (Microsoft Account = e-mail).

If your looking to change your gamertag, you can just get the Games for Windows LIVE client and download a free game like Tinker and change the gamertag on there for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Not quite sure what your trying to do here since your first post is now conflicting with what your telling me you'd like to do in your most recent post.

The only way to spend your MS Points under a different Gamertag is to change your current Gamertag.

You would keep your achievements, points and everything else, the only thing that would change is your Gamertag.

If a simple change of Gamertag isn't what you were looking for, there is no option to transfer your Microsoft Points to a different account.

your gamertag has Zero gamerscore, it seems to me you accidently have created 2 gamertags and named them similarily. this could easily be caused if you had used 2 different email addresses (for example by typo and then afterwards correct email).

xbox Support can help you sort out if this is the case.

if you recieved a forced gamertag Change by xbox your gamertag would have been randomly assigned with a combination of 2 words and a number like "NameChange12345", not just your current gamertag -1 Digit

It looks like your gamertag has now changed here on the forums if it has not changed on the console please try removing your profile from the console and reloading it again and hopefully your new gamertag will then be show on the console.
