    As stated in your original thread, there is no way around region locking. If the games are not available in your region, there is nothing you can do.

    If you bought a disc copy of the game, then you should be able to play it on your Xbox One console, as it is region free.

    Use of a VPN to gain access to content that is not normally available to you is a violation of the terms of service and does put you at risk for being banned.

    if you can return it you should and explain that the code is not usable in your region and ask for a refund/replacement

    a way you can avoid this kind of problem would be to buy directly from the microsoft store (and make sure it is set to your region)
