    Two XSX on Insider Alpha Skip Ahead, unable to update


    For about the past 3 or 4 builds in Alpha Skip Ahead I've had two different Xbox Series X devices unable to update reliably. Combinations of multiple retries, turning off the console, resetting network configuration (one is wired, one is wireless) and I've had to factory reset (keeping apps) before they would boot and update.

    I know these issues have happened sporadically in the past, but I haven't seen anything in the release notes for any of the recent builds. Has anyone else seen this issue? Any known resolution or reliable workaround other than what I've tried?

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead

    Hi, The new avatar update or upgrade is being tested now by the Alpha Skip Ahead/Alpha insiders, so it shouldn't be too long before it is released to everyone.

    The new update is only out for some Alpha & Alpha skip ahead insiders at the moment.

    If you're in the Omega ring then you'll probably be the last ring to get the update before it's released to everyone.

    In the alpha skip ahead, still no update. "Alpha Skip Ahead" clearly means something else... :')
