Two Xboxes - both with same audio issue

Both of my Xbox Ones have an audio issue. Whenever I am playing a game (all are digital), watching a DVD/Blu-Ray, or using other media with sound components I have an issue. This occurs on multiple TVs.

After only a few minutes of use from startup, game audio becomes distorted for seconds at a time. The period of audio distortion can last from half a second to two or three seconds. In some cases, with one of the Xboxes, the audio would get so bad and so
prolonged that I would have to quit the game and restart it, only to have the problem potentially happen again 30 minutes later. Adjectives that describe the sound include:
distorted, garbled, tearing, screeching.

I can describe what is happening when this issue occurs. This problem
usually happens during heavy processing or heavy load scenarios: killing a thick horde of zombies in Dead Rising 3 or engaging in multi-ship battles during Assassins Creed IV play. Having the audio issue
usually take place during times of heavy stress on the console leads me to believe that it is an operating system issue, as does the fact that both of my Xbox Ones have this issue. Wouldn't the odds of me having the same audio problems for both consoles
be incredibly low if it was a hardware problem?

In the case of Blu-Ray or other media, video frames freeze for 1-2 seconds, and then quickly increase their framerate in order to catch up with the audio. The issue increases in frequency the longer the media is viewed.

Hard restarts and factory resets have done nothing to fix this problem so far. Hopefully the next update will address this problem...assuming it is a software optimization issue. Anyone else experiencing something similar? It is getting hard for me to believe
that this is hardware related. Help?

Live TV delayed audio

Same issue. Running cable thru two xboxones. Both have audio lag. Microsoft needs to update with a fix. Seemed to work fine before the update.

It's not my surround sound system or my tv. Only one tv is hooked up to surround sound.

Microsoft? Wanna chime in here?

Connecting 2 xbox one controllers to my Windows 10 PC for movie watching with headphones

Recently I bought a Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows so I could wirelessly connect my Xbox One controllers to my Windows 10 PC. The reason I wanted to do this was so that my wife and I could each use a controller with headphones
attached and watch Netflix together without disturbing the kids. We wanted the wireless option so we could watch with headphones without being tethered to the PC with and chords. While I was able to get both controllers to connect, the audio only comes through
one of the controllers instead of both. If I turn off the controller that has the audio, the audio switches to the remaining controller. Is there a way to have the audio go through both at the same time? Do I have to have two accounts logged in to do this?
Can I even login two accounts at the same time?

Hello are do your controllers have the built in audio jack or are you using an audio adapter to plug your headsets into the controllers? If it is the same audio adapter used on both controllers that might be the issue.

ok so I did end up trying to see if using my other two headsets would fix the problem, both are completely different brands, and I’m still having the same issue. Party chat volume is obnoxiously loud and the only adjustment I can make is the volume of the
game audio. Chat stays the same. So this tells me it’s a somethnng within my xbox itself.

well to play online if one of the two accounts that you are using has xbox live gold, then both accounts will be able to play online at the same time. About the headset thing, i don't think you are able to do that just becase the console does not support
the entrance of two chanels of audio,

I take it that you are using two controllers?

The USB should be ok as this just supplies power to the in-line amp for the headset, so two plugged into the console should not give any problems.

As the red/white phono plugs would have to be piggy backed off each other both headsets will receive exactly the same game audio, ie, if you are on one side of the map and your bro is on the other side of the map, you will both hear exactly the same.

You should have individual game chat though as the chat audio is connected through two separate controllers.
