Two Xbox wireless adapters on one PC?

Hopefully this is in the right place to ask this. A slightly odd question that I can't find anything online about - if I connect two Xbox One wireless controller adapters to one PC, would I then be able to sync different Xbox One controllers to each?

The reason I want to do this is I have my PC connected to three different rooms in my house via HDMI and USB extensions through the walls, and my Xbox One wireless adapter can't maintain a signal between the rooms very well. If it's plugged directly into
the PC upstairs, it can connect downstairs but isn't reliable and regularly disconnects during gameplay, and vice versa if plugged in downstairs (disconnects upstairs.) If two adapters could be connected, one upstairs and one downstairs, and work independently
(I've successfully done this with my old Xbox 360 wireless adapter at the same time as the Xbox One adapter but those are different pieces of hardware) that would solve my problem, but I don't really want to buy another one without some idea if it will work first.

    Thanks for any advice!

    :)

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows Begins Shipping Today - Xbox Wire

Two Xbox wireless adapters on one PC? [IMG]

In June, we announced the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows as part of our commitment for designing Xbox accessories to support both Xbox and Windows. Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve started to ship to retailers in most markets around the world, including the U.S.

With the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, you’ll simply plug the Adapter into the USB 2.0 or 3.0 port of your Windows 10 PC laptop or tablet and bind the Adapter to your Wireless Controller to enable the same gaming experience you’re used to on Xbox One, including in-game chat and high-quality stereo audio. The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows accommodates up to eight controllers per unit, and up to four chat headsets or two stereo headsets.

If you haven’t had a chance to try game streaming just yet, check out these step-by-step instructions. And be sure to try some of this year’s blockbuster games with built-in controller support including Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta, andFable Legends.

The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows will be available for $24.99 USD (MSRP) or bundled with an Xbox One Wireless Controller for $79.95 USD (MSRP).

Xbox One controller on Windows 10

Hi, you can do it in two ways:

First one and the easiest is to connect a USB cable from the PC to the controller, the second one (if you want a wireless connection) is to use an Xbox One Controller Adapter which can be found here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/adapters/wireless-adapter-windows

    Hope this helps.

I know this is necroposting, but I'd like to post this here in the case that anyone else experiences the cause that I did for this problem. I'm posting this so that anyone who searches will not have to look far.

In order for my Xbox to get internet, since it is too far from the router/modem, I bridge the connection between my wireless adapter on my PC, and my Xbox 360. I'm sorry Microsoft, I love you guys, but I know the ins-and-outs of a wireless adapter, and the
one provided for the older models of Xbox are not worth $50. The reason I couldn't get my media to stream was because I had two wireless adapters plugged into my PC. Even though only one was bridged, the Xbox couldn't figure out how to communicate with my
PC because it had two adapters, meaning it had two local IP addresses. If your computer has more than one wireless adapter, (This includes USB, PCI, or motherboard-attached) I suggest unplugging them, then test this fix by opening your guide on Xbox and load
    up a song.

My controller keeps disconnecting mid game

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

Can you use the Xbox one wireless headset chat mixer on PC if you have the usb wireless adapter?

Yes, you can use the Xbox One wireless headset chat mixer on PC if you have the USB wireless adapter.

To do this, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Connect the USB wireless adapter to your PC.
    2. Turn on your Xbox One wireless headset and hold down the power button on the headset until it starts flashing. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
    3. Press the pairing button on the USB wireless adapter until the LED starts flashing.
    4. Once the LED on the USB wireless adapter stops flashing and stays lit, the headset is paired with your PC.
    5. Open the Xbox Accessories app on your PC, and click on the "Xbox One Wireless Controller" device.
    6. From there, you can adjust the chat mixer settings to your liking.
Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to use the chat mixer on your Xbox One wireless headset with your PC.
