Two XBOX ones, one internet connection trouble

My roommate and I both have xbox ones and are unable to connect to the same game in titanfall. Although we can talk to each other in party chat, we can not play in the same lobby. When we try to connect we get a "Lost connection to server" message. We are
on the same modem in the same house and I know that we are not the only ones as there are multiple topics posted in the titanfall forums about this that will offer links to opening ports and configuring routers. THIS SORT OF THING IS RIDICULOUS. If it was
as simple as selecting "yes" or "no" somewhere in the settings that would be excusable, but I should not have to take a class to play a game with my roommate. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE MICROSOFT!

    :)

Connecting two xbox ones on the same internet connection

    Hey all

I've been able to connect two xbox 360s on the same internet connection with open nat no problem, I now have two xbox ones on the same connection with open nat but performance online is terrible, is it me or does the xbox one more bandwidth? Also if any
one has two xb1 on the same connection working well, what's your internet speed?

    Cheers

So my roomate and I have a similar issue. We can both play simultaneously if we are not joined in a party. But if we do join in a party, we get the everlasting "Connecting..." message while trying to start a game.

Some random details about our setup:

    ISP: Charter Communications

    Modem: Cisco something or other

    Router: Asus flashed with TomatoUSB

IP: IPv4 shared with NAT, and IPv6 "native" through Charter's 6rd tunnel with router advertisements sent onto the LAN with dnsmasq

I don't have a strong background in networking, nor the equipment to do much more than poke at this. But I did setup wireshark to do some packet sniffing, seems the XBox One sets up a teredo tunnel exclusively for Xbox Live connectivity (IPv6 tunneled over
IPv4), and downloads generic content over IPv4 from Akamai.

Best I can tell, I did not observe either Xbox One sending packets to the other at any point while trying to play as a party. It's somewhat tricky to really know though, since I can't get a command shell on the Xbox, and they don't report the IPv6 address
    in the network menu.

Anyway... very frustrating, and I've no idea if the issue is in our setup (*everything* else works fine), Charter's 6rd infrastructure, Microsoft's teredo infrastructure, the Xbox One's networking code, or just a bug in Titanfall.

I have a similar problem except me and my fiancé can play together in the same match, but the game crashes if we party up with friends to play. It always happens after selecting loadouts, and the strangest part is we can only hear each other on party chat
after it happens. Both NATs are open. We have no problems with other games, just Titanfall. We have a wireless bridge set up (dd-wrt on a wrt54g) to a netgear wndr3700. Our internet is garbage, so maybe that's why, but that doesn't explain why we can play
together in the same match simultaneously but not together with friends in a party.

  7. My partner and I are experiencing the same issue. Two XBox Ones on one router. Cannot join each other in a lobby due to a Lost Connection error. Have had this issue since the game launched, don't have any problems joining other game lobbies together (Dead
Rising 3, Marvel Super Heroes, etc) HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT with this game. I can't believe it's a multiplayer-only game and we can't play together.

From what I can tell Titanfall has worked this out. However, if anyone is having problems with the game freezing then crashing due to poor internet, our fix is as follows:

1.) Do not select a loadout in the drop ship. Don't even move the selector bar up and down.

2.) If in party chat, both should mute mics (while party chat uses little data, it still uses data this ensures all possible data is being used by titanfall)

3.) wait 5-10 seconds once on the ground to select your load out.

while I know this sucks, its better than not getting to play at all. I've found that at the beginning of each match it requires A LOT of bandwidth, more than at any other point in the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice this, but its just information
I thought many DSL ridden folks might find helpful.

This is still an issue. My roommate and I are on the same AT&T U-Verse network with two Xbox One consoles. I am using a wifi connection and he has a wired connection. We are unable to join each other's games for TitanFall and Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls. I
have looked briefly on the web and this is the most recent thread regarding this issue. It has been discussed since 2012 as far as I found. I am dismayed that Microsoft has not addressed this issue and the solution requires a working knowledge of network connections
    and configurations.

  10. this is no Microsoft exlusive issue, its Basic Networking when 2 devices try to use the same ports some ports are considered mandatory (80, http Two XBOX ones, one internet connection trouble ;)) and thus they in most cases never Need to be forwarded at all, others are quite Special and Need Manual care
if upnp wont do its Job.

for 2 consoles this is quite easy: Setup your first with port forwarding, Setup your 2nd with dmz, though not every router has this Option.

Sri prideloss this is not working. As a forwarded port is exclusively forwarded and is no longer available to a device sitting in the DMZ or configured as "exposed host". This is a normal limitation of network topology.

If trying to use two Xbox One behind the same firewall / NAT the only chance is to use UPnp which will give both a "moderate" NAT but is working in nearly all cases.

There are of course some games like CoD, where you can play both the same game, even online, but not in the same lobby, as the limitations described by prideloss (using the same port) may occur here. But this is a limitation of the game or better said, the
network abilities of the game programed by the manufacturer. It's not a problem of the One or Microsoft.

My update is that my roommate and I can now join d3 and Destiny games. I did not change any settings, it just started working one day. Sometimes we run into games where the other person gets dropped a lot. In these cases one person will turn off their console
and then back on or we will change the other person as host for game invites. I know this not that helpful but my previous post blamed Microsoft which is incorrect.

which Router do you have? You can NOT use Port Forwarding or DMZ if you have more than 1 Xbox - it never works for home routers !

What you can try is: First: Update you router Firmware to the latest Firmware and then enable UPnP. With this it should be possible to connect 2 xboxes.
