Two Xbox One's On My Account after Repair Order

Hi,

I sent my xbox one x into the repair center last week as after talking with a specialists, they determined that the reason my xbox one x wouldn't work/play games was due to a hardware issue.

I get an email today stating that no issues have been found and the console (same serial number) is being sent back to me.

Does this mean that my console was not fixed because they found no issues or is that a blanket term for after they repair the issue?

I'm a little concerned because getting the same console back if they couldn't find anything wrong with it doesn't seem like it would fix the issue.

I logged into my microsoft account and I see my xbox one x withe no issues found and that one being sent back to me (with same serial number as the one I sent in).

However, next to that console in my devices I see another Xbox One X that has a completely different serial number.

Are they actually replacing my console and sent the wrong one back by mistake? Because I've only owned one Xbox One X. I did own a One S, but it shows as a separate device with a separate serial number.

Just wondering as my console wasn't at the the repair center long, so just mainly curious as to what's all the terms mean, etc.

If you are not able to return the controller to a store, you can use the Online repair order request. Log in to your microsoft account and locate your Xbox under devices. Start the process to schedule a repair on the system and after a screen or two you
will be able to select an Accessory and the Controller instead of the system. I used this process and had a new controller in about a week.

I do have two accounts on the same Microsoft account. After being prompted to create a new Xbox account, I couldn’t log into the old one. Both accounts are still there, but I just can get into one. I think my Microsoft account reset or something, because my order history is also empty.

you need to send your xbox one in for a repair . loud noise for a xbox one is not normal you can start repair order at xbox one support .com then you need to go down at the bottom where see repair and service center after that register your
xbox one console then start a repair order . if you need more help you can call xbox support or go to xbox one support website do a text chat
