Two Xbox One's - Multiple Headaches.

Where to start...

Ok i have two Xbox One's connected to my router (BT HOME HUB 3.0) and this is 1 of my many problems it would seem but quite possibly the most annoying problem.

When i have them both on, and playing a game it will completely cut out my internet to the point i have to restart my router in order for the internet to work again, this means NO wifi device can connect until the internet has been powered off and back on. My
Internet does NOT drop out at all when the Xbox's are NOT on.

I have rang up BT tech support about 20 times since Jan and they was looking into it but could not find a fault on my line, i was insisting there was and so they sent out a engineer to come and check out my line and to the exchange and all came back fine
also.

But when i start talking Xbox Ones to them, they dont have a clue and its like talking to a 3 year old. So heres my question why is this happening has anybody else had any other problems with this kind of thing?

Using Two Xbox One's

I recently won a second Xbox One Console (the Elite Version not a slim, go figure) and was going to set it up in my spare bedroom as a streaming device. I was wondering, can I use my account/Gamertag on both consoles? This way all my Netflix, Hulu, YouTube,
and Vudu information is setup and ready to go.

I have a Xbox 360 that uses my Gamertag and it works fine, was just wondering since it would now be on the same console type if there would be any kind of disruption.

I want to say congrats man. I like the slim I just don't like the part they had to remove the kinect part.

Anyways. Ya you can use your gamertag on anything. All you have to do is download all those apps from ready to install using your gamertag, or just go to the app store using your new xbox one.

Those Internet speeds are very low to run an Xbox One, let alone two Xbox Ones. Especially with online gaming, the consoles use a lot of upload connection to play. It could possibly be that the consoles are eating so much of the bandwidth to the point
that it is crashing the router, which can happen if it is trying to handle more than it's capable of handling.

I would suggest trying to plug the Xbox One into the router directly with an ethernet cable and see if that helps at all. Hard-lining the consoles would help slightly than using them on WiFi. I understand, however, that you probably don't both Xboxes right
next to the router, but try one console and see if that helps.

Check out that link above. It recommends at least 0.5mbps upload for gaming online....and that's just for one console to be able to play.

 

I would shop around you can get much better deals than that
