Two Xbox One X consoles connected to the same HDMI port of a Philips TV, but reacting differently!
That's my problem: my xbox one x shows all the green check marks for hdr games but my brother's one does not have green checkmarks for hdr games. However, they are both connected to the same hdmi port of the TV! It's an irrational problem, does anyone
have an idea? Thank you.

Similar to steve30x's answers, check the cord if you are using something other than the one that came with it. I did not realize that it takes a specific HDMI cord for the better quality. I was trying to use a longer cord that I had purchased years ago
and needed to buy a new one that was 2.0 compliant if I recall or 2.2.

go to the video settings on the xbox and make sure the hdr is turned on, if the xbox is set to auto then you might need to set it manually

I forgot to check the YCC 4:2:2 option in Video Modes.

If anyone has problems regarding HDR on the TV, try to activate the YCC !
