Two Xbox One consoles, two people playing, how many Xbox Live Gold accounts do we need?

I have two Xbox One consoles so my daughter and I can play Destiny as a fire team. How many Xbox Live (Gold) accounts do I need? Do I need one for each Xbox one console? We will be playing simultaneously.

Thank you! Given that, if we have two Xbox live accounts and set two consoles as home (one for each account) couldn’t we have 4 Xbox one consoles running? The guests would just have to use the “home” consoles and we use the two extra Xbox one consoles and

Douchbag rip-off prevention. too laxxed if you ask me. You can game share between two Xboxes with two different account holders, both paying for Xbox Live. But both would have to trust the other person completely. This would allow two people to each play the same copy of the game on their home consoles. But you already reap the benefits of free Gold when playing on the same console anyway. Microsoft and the Xbox One is pretty lenient with general account sharing, game sharing and free Gold sharing. no need to rape the system. Just play regularly. Between sales, I doubt you two would be buying that may games. sounds like a bit like overkill just to play CoD. theres also some down sides to doing the game sharing thing too, ya know.

 

Yes, you will each need a gold subscription since you would be on separate consoles.

 

This sucks. I have my Xb1 One & bought my daughter a 360. I thought I would be able to just add her to my account and we both could play, but I was just told, I have to buy 2 Live subscriptions. Had I known that I would have gotten her a PS3. This sucks.
You should not have to buy 2 Live subs per year. Rip off...
